FINANCIAL PLANNING PRICING
Initial Financial Adviser Appointment
Free, no obligation
Statement of Advice
Our advisers will analyse all the information collected from the first appointment and create a Statement of Advice which will clearly explain all recommendations and strategies the adviser believes best for the client’s personal situation. We generally do not charge for this process, especially if the client then proceeds ahead with the recommendations. We may charge a fee up to $2,000 (plus GST) for this process depending on complexity and work involved in preparing the advice.
Implementation Process
Once a Statement of Advice has been approved by the client, we then begin the implementation process which can be many, varied and time consuming depending the complexity of the recommendations and products/companies being used. We will not charge for this process as we choose to receive commission payments from the companies and products we use which is all highlighted in the Statement of Advice. We are therefore only paid a fee once an investment is put in place.
Ongoing Financial Service Review
If you wish to engage our ongoing financial services, our business will continue to be paid an ongoing trail commission which also will be highlighted in your initial Statement of Advice and some clients, depending when an investment began, will receive an annual Financial Disclosure Statement highlighting how much we are paid from the product provider(s). These clients will receive a letter annually inviting them to book in for their Annual Portfolio Review with their adviser. We encourage our clients to ensure they utilise this free appointment to ensure we are kept up to date with any changes to the client’s situation, goals and/or objectives.
Active Management Option
We offer an additional Active Management Option to clients which means they will be kept more regularly up to date by their adviser with how their portfolio is going. These clients are discussed as part of the in-house Monthly Investment Committee meeting to ensure that any product or product provider changes are made. Should our Investment Committee believe that any changes are necessary to their portfolio, this is done and activated by our advisers, explaining to the client’s the changes we are making and why. These client’s portfolios are actively watched and if changes to allocations need to be made this is done as a priority. Should an Active Management Option client be unable to attend their Annual Portfolio Review appointment with the adviser, we ensure that an updated review is posted out or emailed out to ensure they know their current financial situation.
